Privacy and safeguarding
Grassroots Matchday helps authorised team members plan fixtures, log match events and share appropriate match information.
What is stored
Account email addresses, team membership, player and fixture details, match events, team settings and any images deliberately uploaded by an authorised team member.
Who can see it
Team information is separated by team. Access depends on the role assigned by the team owner. Parents have view-only access and do not receive the team member directory or activity email addresses.
Children’s information
Only add information that is necessary for managing the team. The team owner is responsible for having the appropriate authority and permissions before adding player details, photographs or video.
Keeping and removing information
Team owners can export their team data. Access can be revoked at any time. If information is no longer needed, ask the team owner to remove it or request deletion of the team account.
Questions or deletion requests
Contact the team owner who invited you. Independent team owners can use the account controls in Grassroots Matchday to export their information before requesting deletion.
